Billy Ray Murphy

Billy Ray Murphy, 82, of Lanham, MD departed this life on Dec. 4.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Reynolds Murphy, a daughter, Sheron Renee Murphy, a son, Anthony Ray Murphy (Antoinette), five grandchildren: Amber Murphy, Kemper Murphy, Jade Murphy, Jaelyn Murphy and Anthony Murphy Jr., six great grandchildren, three sisters: Francis Murphy, Beulah Ferguson and Lois Powell and one brother, Robert Murphy.

The viewing will be held on Saturday, December 20 from 10-11 a.m. at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, 5720 Whitfield Rd., Lanham, MD, where the funeral service will immediately follow at 11 a.m. Bishop Charles E. Cato, Pastor. The interment will be in the cemetery of First Baptist Church, Tappahannock on December 21 at 1 p.m.
