Bertha Lorraine Strong

Bertha Lorraine Strong, 70, of Montross departed this life on Nov. 18 in a Richmond hospital.

She is survived by her husband, James Strong of King George, a daughter, Debbie Smith of Tappahannock, a son, Clifton Ransome (Nicole) of Colonial Beach, two sisters: Barbara Payne and Ruth Ann Smith a brother, Robert Jeter (Vernell) all of Tappahannock.

The viewing will be held on November 30 at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock from 4-6 p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Dec. 1 at 12 noon at New Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 488 Warings Mill Rd., Caret.
