Berkeley E. Fortune, 76, of Newtown departed this life on June 20 at his residence.
He is survived by three sisters: Mary Williams (John), Virginia Berry and Theola Fortune all of Milford, his step-children: Virginia Gayle Beverly and Frederick Beverly both of Baltimore, MD and a host of step grandchildren, great grandchildren and friends.
The viewing will be held on Monday, June 29 from 4-6 p.m. at here Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The graveside funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 30 at 11 a.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Newtown. Rev. Drucilla Pollard, Pastor.
