Barbara B. O'Neal

Barbara B. O’Neal, 77, of Champlain departed this life on Saturday, August 21 at her residence.

She is survived by a son, John F. O’Neal (Jessica) and a granddaughter, Taylor O’Neal all of Mechanicsville; three sisters: Lelia Fortune of Bowling Green, Donna Byrd and Lydia Byrd both of Ruther Glen; two brothers: George M. Byrd of Ft. Wayne, IN and Bennie Byrd of Fredericksburg.

The viewing will be held on Friday, August 27 from 3-5 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephens Baptist Church, Bowling Green. Rev. Irving Woolfolk, Eulogist. The interment will take place immediately following the service at Antioch Baptist Church, Champlain.
