Arthur Warner Davis, Jr.

Arthur Warner Davis, Jr., 74, of Walkerton departed this life on August 28 in a Mechanicsville hospital.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Joy Lawson Davis, a son, Jason Davis (Charlene), two sisters: Alverta Patterson and Jean Davis; two grandchildren: Jason and Savanna and his special grandchildren: Kamal, Aniyah, Dylan, Cateleya and Matthew.

The viewing will be held on Friday, Sept. 6 from 4-7 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The viewing will continue Saturday, Sept. 7 from 9-11 a.m. at Zion Baptist Church, 615 Zion Church Rd., King & Queen Courthouse, where the funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Virginia Young, Pastor. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
