Anne C. Cary of Tappahannock departed this life on April 25 at her residence. She was a retired school teacher and librarian for the Essex County Public Schools.
She is survived by two sons: Cornell Cary of Tappahannock and John Cary (Shanna) of Atlanta, GA; a foster son, Robert Braxton of Tappahannock, three grandchildren: Cornelius, Mallory and Chelsea and a host of other relatives, friends, her church family and former students.
The viewing will be held on Sunday, April 30 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 401 Marsh St., Tappahannock, where the funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
