Altine Elizabeth (Golden) Bowens

Altine Elizabeth Bowens, 84, of Tappahannock departed this life on July 22.

She is survived by her husband, Frankie Bowens, Sr., her children: Frankie Bowens, Jr. (Vicky), Sandra Payne (Keith), Otis Bowens Sr. (Teresa) and Paul Bundy (Sylvia); grandchildren: Alexus Henry, Jonathan Ellis, Otis Bowens Jr., Kendra Smith, Keith Payne Jr., Carson Bowens, O’Teon Bowens, Destini Smith, Demetrice Bundy, Cameron Bundy and Christopher Bundy; a host of great grandchildren, brothers: Wilbert Golden, Jr., Wilbert Boyd, Albert Boyd (Hartense) and Mac Boyd and a sister, Geraldine Allen (Vincent)

The viewing will be held on Thursday, July 24 from 4-7 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church, 155 St. John Church Rd., Tappahannock, where the funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25 at 11 a.m. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
