John "Cisco" Carey

John Dandridge Carey "Cisco", 68, of Tappahannock departed this life on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at The Carrington Place in Tappahannock.

He is survived by three children: Matilda Baker of Stafford, VA, Nasir Donovan Gray of New York City, NY and John D. Carey “Jay” of Virginia Beach, VA. One step-daughter, Sharon Carey-Ball of Alexandria, VA; One devoted and dedicated brother, Vincent Carey of Tappahannock; One aunt, Hazel Watson of Townsend, DE. Five grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing will be held on Friday, November 2 from 1-6 p.m. here at Washington Funeral Home, Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 3 at 11 a.m. at New Liberty Baptist Church, Milford. Rev. Willie T. Carter, Pastor. The interment will be in the church cemetery.
